Church Workshops
Church Workshops & Trainings
We have several counselors with experience and expertise in a variety of different trainings that may be valuable to your ministry teams or your members. Below are some of the workshops we have offered in the past; if you don’t see a particular topic you are interested in, please let us know as we may be able to create a training tailored to your needs. Generally, we offer workshops at the rate of $250/hour, but we are open to discussing alternative arrangements so let us know what you’re thinking, and we may be able to accommodate.

Benefits of Offering Workshops in your Church
Community building: Workshops foster a sense of togetherness and fellowship among church members. Participants can bond over shared experiences, and interests, strengthening the church community. Workshops can bring together people of different ages, fostering relationships and understanding between various generations within the church community.
Spiritual growth: Workshops can provide opportunities for individuals to deepen their understanding of faith teachings, engage in meaningful discussions, and explore their faith on a more profound level. We are happy to integrate Christian faith into our workshops. Workshops exploring life challenges can also deepen individuals’ faith.
Growth and Skill development: Workshops can help church members acquire practical skills related to parenting, marriage, navigating hardship, practicing compassion for others, and leadership. These skills can enhance their personal lives and contribute positively to the church body. Workshops that focus on mental health, stress management, and emotional well-being can positively impact the emotional health of participants.
Addressing specific needs: Workshops can be tailored to address the unique needs and challenges faced by the church congregation, providing support and guidance during difficult times. Examples we have encountered include: helping congregations process grief and heal from recent suicide of a member and helping church members deal with divorce within church leadership and resulting pain.
Outreach: Workshops can be open to the wider community, providing a non-threatening and engaging way to introduce others to the church and welcome them in.
Equipping: By participating in workshops, individuals can feel empowered to take an active role in the church’s mission and service, encouraging a sense of ownership and responsibility. Healthy churches are not composed of one pastor doing everything, but by a community of believers using their unique spiritual giftings to uplift the body and the vision of the church. Workshops can also help identify and nurture leadership potential within the congregation, equipping individuals to take on greater responsibilities within the church.
Overall, workshops in a church setting can be a valuable tool for spiritual, emotional, and personal growth, and contributing to a stronger and more connected church community.
